His background includes service as a U.S. Army Military Police Sergeant, hands-on Firefighter / EMT experience and AEMT training, supervisory work in federal detention operations supporting the U.S. Marshals Service, and leadership of large security programs. He has managed approximately 220 security personnel, directed a security company, and helped organize response operations during Hurricanes Florence and Helene.
